Job summary

MSI is seeking an Overhead Crane Operator to accurately pull slab orders and move materials using overhead cranes. The role requires strict adherence to safety and operational guidelines to ensure timely, precise handling within the facility.

Responsibilities include operating cranes and forklifts, loading slabs onto vehicles, and maintaining a clean warehouse. A high school diploma and 2+ years in a warehouse are required, with forklift/crane experience preferred and tablet proficiency expected.

Qualifications

Summary:

The Overhead Crane Operator accurately pulls slab orders using overhead cranes, adhering to all safety procedures and operational guidelines. This role is vital to ensuring timely and precise material handling within the facility.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:

• Accurately pull slab orders from warehouse inventory
• Operate overhead cranes to move slabs to designated loading areas
• Load slabs onto customer vehicles or trucks, ensuring proper placement and securement
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure secure material transport
• Use forklifts to unload slabs from incoming containers
• Organize and arrange slabs in the warehouse using forklifts and cranes
• Maintain a clean and safe slab warehouse environment for staff and visitors
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Two (2) plus years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Forklift, crane, and warehouse experience preferred
• Proficient with tablets or iPads
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM, 5 Saturday(s) a month from 07:30 AM to 12:30 PM
