Job summary

Msisurfaces is seeking an Overhead Crane Operator to accurately pull slab orders and move slabs with overhead cranes. You will secure loads for customer vehicles and follow strict safety protocols in a busy warehouse environment.

The role requires at least 2 years in a warehouse setting, forklift/crane experience, and proficiency with tablets. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift, crane, and warehouse experience preferred.
• Proficient with tablets or iPads.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Summary: The Overhead Crane Operator accurately pulls slab orders using overhead cranes, adhering to all safety procedures and operational guidelines. This role is vital to ensuring timely and precise material handling within the facility.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:

• Accurately pull slab orders from warehouse inventory
• Operate overhead cranes to move slabs to designated loading areas
• Load slabs onto customer vehicles or trucks, ensuring proper placement and securement
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure secure material transport
• Use forklifts to unload slabs from incoming containers
• Organize and arrange slabs in the warehouse using forklifts and cranes
• Maintain a clean and safe slab warehouse environment for staff and visitors
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Two (2) plus years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Forklift, crane, and warehouse experience preferred
• Proficient with tablets or iPads
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 06:30 AM to 05:30 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 08:30 AM to 12:30 PM
