Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Irvine, CA to pick products per orders and prepare shipments. Read labels, select items by slot and description, assemble orders on pallets, and label products for dispatch while keeping a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities include operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, handling items with care, reporting damages, and following GMP/SQF guidelines in a high-temperature warehouse. Shifts are long (10–12 hours).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Able to lift 10–75 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
• Able to reach up to 72 inches and stand 10–12 hours.
• Work in coolers and freezers and follow GMP/SQF policies.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to move to the correct slot and transport to dock for staging.
• Handle products with care and report any damage to a supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment checks and assist in cleaning the facility.
• Sign in/out for equipment and follow work systems and instructions.
• Adhere to all GMP, hygiene, and SQF policies as described in the Sysco training manual.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
