Job summary

Sysco is hiring for an Outbound Warehouse Order Selector at our Arlington Heights, IL facility. The role involves reading orders, selecting products, assembling pallets, labeling items, and moving goods with an electric pallet jack or forklift.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with strict safety and quality procedures, including GMP/SQF compliance. Candidates should be able to lift heavy loads, stay on their feet long shifts, and perform daily equipment checks while maintaining a clean,

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
0-1 year of relevant work experience.
Able to lift 10-75 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
Stand for 10-12 hours daily in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
Attach labels on product.
Operate electric pallet jack to correct slot location, and transport product to dock area for staging.
Handle products with the necessary care.
Report any damage of merchandise, equipment or facility to a supervisor.
Perform daily equipment checks.
Assist in the clean-up of the facility and sign off on the daily cleaning area.
Sign in and out for all equipment when used.
Adhere to GMP/SQF policies and procedures.
