Job summary

Sysco Connecticut, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Order Selector to support the foodservice distribution network. You will pick customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse, operate an electric pallet jack or forklift, and build pallets to complete orders for delivery.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and comfort working in coolers, freezers, and temperature-varied environments. Shifts are long, with standing for 10–12 hours and exposure to varying climates.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year relevant work experience.
• Able to frequently lift 10–75 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
• Able to reach up to 72 inches and bend/twist while operating equipment.
• Work in extreme temperatures (cooler/freezer).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues.
• Operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift.
• Organize and palletize product to build customer orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work in temperature-controlled areas as required.
