Performance Food Group is hiring at our Richmond, VA area distribution center for a warehouse associate. You will select cases and containers, move pallets with a pallet jack, and prepare orders for shipment while following safety and quality standards.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 100 lbs in some cases, and working in multiple temperature environments. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs location dependent.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Able to pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• EPJ certification within training period.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers to fill customer orders from warehouse storage systems.
• Move pallets to loading dock using pallet jack/forklift and prepare for shipment.
• Wrap, label, and readied for shipment observing safety and quality standards.
• Maintain safe work area and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform duties to support efficient product flow and team goals.
