Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking staff for a warehouse role in Hickory, NC. You will select cases and containers to fill customer orders from multi‑level warehouse racks, then move and prepare shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts. Emphasis on safety, efficiency, and accurate order fulfillment.

Starting hourly rate is $21.66 with a $0.25 differential after 7pm. Shift is Sunday–Thursday, 6:00 PM until job completion, with benefits and opportunities for growth in a fast‑paced food

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs depending on location.
• Willingness to pass a post‑offer drug test and criminal background check; EPJ certification during training.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work area.
• Review schedule, obtain supplies, and perform safety checks on equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along racks to locate products.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock and wrap/palletize as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and secure equipment at shift end.
