Performance Food Group is hiring for a warehouse associate in Hickory, NC. Select cases and containers to fill customer orders from multi-level rack storage, moving pallets with an electric pallet jack/forklift, wrapping and labeling for shipment while ensuring safety and quality.

This role supports America's food distribution system with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The shift runs Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 PM until job completion, with a starting hourly rate of $21.66 plus a

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Ability to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and 60–100 lbs location dependent.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry/cooler/freezer).
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Ability to become EPJ certified during new-hire training.
• Ability to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and company guidelines; keep area safe and report hazards.
• Review schedule, gather supplies, and perform safety checks on equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location/company guidelines.
• Move pallets using pallet jack, locate products per order sheets, and load for shipment.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock; wrap as needed and document activities.
• Complete paperwork and secure equipment at shift end; perform other duties as assigned.
