Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist in Edwardsville, IL. You will monitor daily receiving/shipping data, report progress toward goals, and reconcile discrepancies between customer systems and our WMS (Synapse) and SAP.

Responsibilities include auditing aisles, optimizing pick locations, and preparing reports on high-volume pick activities, with emphasis on accuracy and process compliance.

Qualifications

• Daily/weekly data collection on receiving/shipping objectives.
• Analyze receiving/shipping data and report daily vs. goals.
• Reconcile EDI feeds between Synapse and SAP.
• Auditing and improving pick locations and product flow.

Responsibilities

• Collects and maintains daily and weekly data on receiving/shipping objectives
• Analyzes receiving/shipping data and reports to customer daily projection against goals
• Daily reconciles receiving and shipping EDI feeds between the Company’s warehouse management system (Synapse) and the customer’s system (SAP)
• Troubleshoots system discrepancies with internal and external Inventory Control
• Interfaces with customer by e-mail, telephone and on-site visits
• Creates reports of product picking activities to identify high volumes
• Recommends efficient relocation of high volume products for easy access by pickers
• Spends part of shift on the floor auditing the aisles
• Completes at least 10 spot audits throughout the shift; all employees with an error for the previous day must receive a spot audit
