Job summary

GEODIS is hiring a Warehouse Custodian in Edwardsville, IL. Work in modern facilities with cutting-edge technology, helping move products for some of the world’s most influential brands.

Duties include sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and reporting needed repairs; you will replace filters and assist with pest control. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3 months experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, overtime willingness, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
• Minimum 3 months experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
• Empties trash and garbage containers.
• Identifies needed repairs such as roof leaks and damaged dock shelters.
• Replaces air conditioner filters.
• Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating and ventilation equipment.
• Maintains pest control devices and sprays pesticides, rodenticides and herbicides.
