Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support cycle counts, data reporting, and inventory health in our Romeoville, IL facility. You will analyze variances, track trends, and assist with process improvements while maintaining accurate records in the WMS system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months related experience and/or training.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to use a WMS system to track data and identify root causes.

Responsibilities

• Conducts inventory cycle counts and physical inventory programs.
• Compiles, verifies and reports daily/periodic statistics to detect trends and maintain inventory health.
• Researches variances to determine root cause and logs information for review.
• Counts and reconciles randomly chosen part numbers and locations.
• Assists in execution of projects and recommends process improvements to leaders.
