Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the order, receiving, storage, and shipping of materials in our Burlington, NJ facility.

You will plan inbound/outbound schedules, assign staff, manage payroll, and ensure safety procedures are followed to maintain operational excellence. The role requires at least 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics, with demonstrated leadership of 50+ direct reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution, or supply chain.
• Experience leading a team of 50+ direct reports.
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers handling ordering, receiving, storing, and shipping materials.
• Plan inbound/outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determine staffing needs and schedule staff accordingly.
• Assign workers to duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and procedures communicated to staff.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in collaboration with Inventory Control.
