Job summary

Performance Team, part of A.P. Moller - Maersk, Burlington, VT, seeks an Operations Manager to lead warehousing and product development activities.

You will supervise multiple departments, ensure timely production and high quality, and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to optimize resources and costs. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years in warehouse operations management, and 1+ year in cold storage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations management experience.
• Minimum 1 year of cold storage experience required.
• Experience working in production-based/fast-paced environments.
• Warehouse performance management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all activities related to operations and development of company products, personally or through supervisors.
• Provide input to product strategy and development of new products.
• Establish production and quality standards, budget, and delivery data for products.
• Guide manufacturing process planning including staffing, materials, and equipment needs.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities with functions and suppliers to optimize production and resources.
• Review reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and delays.
