Job Title: Warehouse Operator II

FLSA Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt/Hourly Professional
Work Location: Fall River, MA
Work Hours: First Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM (may vary based on business needs)
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Salary Range: $20 - $26/hr

Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to assist in the warehouse operations of a pharmaceutical manufacturing company.

Scope:

This job description describes the general nature and level of work, responsibilities, and expectations. It is not exhaustive and may be modified based on department needs, training, experience, or specific testing groups.

Multifunctional Role:

This role primarily serves as a Warehouse Operator but also provides support to Packaging, Manufacturing, and Facilities Operations.

Job Description:

The Warehouse Operator handles receipt, dispensing, and storage of materials, ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety standards. Responsibilities include safe execution of duties, product compliance, and collaboration with other departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Receive and dispense raw and packing materials.
  2. Store finished goods and miscellaneous items properly.
  3. Ensure proper storage conditions and inspect materials for damage.
  4. Dispatch finished goods and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
  5. Operate, clean, and calibrate machinery.
  6. Maintain accurate inventory and update logs.
  7. Verify materials before dispensing and generate labels.
  8. Ensure safe material movement and load/unload trucks.
  9. Collaborate with QA, QC, Production, and Engineering.
  10. Assist in sampling and inspection processes.
  11. Perform shipping and receiving duties, including documentation and equipment operation.
  12. Maintain organized and clean work areas.
  13. Follow all quality, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  14. Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies.
Other Responsibilities:

Maintain cGMP and SOP compliance, adhere to policies, complete documentation accurately, report issues, perform equipment maintenance, and assist in training as needed. Flexibility to work extended hours is required.

Training and Safety:

Complete necessary training, adhere to safety guidelines, and cross-train in warehouse operations. Strictly follow health, safety, and environmental protocols.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' warehouse experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and knowledge of cGMP and safety regulations.
  • Understanding of mechanical machinery and control systems.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in teams.
  • Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects, wear PPE, and possibly wear respiratory devices. Frequent bending and exerting force up to 50 pounds are required.
