As a Warehouse Operator II, supporting our Material Distribution Team, you will be trusted to receiving /inspecting goods and verifying items against the shipment record. You will also be gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method at Houston, Texas US.In this role, a typical day will include:
- Performs picks of warehouse materials using RF Handheld.
- Perform cycle counts of warehouse locations and execute material movements as needed.
- Able to obtain and maintain Order Picker, Reach Truck and Swing Reach Truck Certifications (Training Provided).
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness through 6S practice and identify opportunities for improvement (Kaizen).
- Able to investigate, identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in SAP system.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- Work hours: 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday from 4:45pm - 3:15am
