Job summary

Gehl Foods, LLC is hiring a Warehouse Operator for the 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm). Base pay of $18/hour, with increases based on experience. The role includes picking, packing, and wrapping orders, unloading ingredients and goods, and supporting inventory control.

We offer on-demand pay, bonuses, full benefits, PTO, and tuition reimbursement. Ideal candidates have forklift experience, the ability to use handheld scanners and the Ross ERP system, and can work in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift/Reach Truck experience preferred.
• Ability to operate Windows-based systems and ERP software.
• Strong teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer orders in the Partial Pallet area; pick, pack and wrap to spec.
• Unload, validate, and inspect ingredients, packaging materials, pallets.
• Load finished goods for shipping to customers and other locations.
• Support inventory rotation and proper recordkeeping for movements.

What You’ll Do

• Accurately process customer orders in the Partial Pallet area. Pick, pack and wrap finished goods to order specification
• Unload, validate, and inspect ingredients, packaging materials, pallets
• Unload and load various finished goods to ship to our customers and other warehouse locations
• Support proper inventory rotation
• Process all necessary paperwork for material and finished good movements
• Support team members in Operations, FSQ, R&D, and other areas of Gehl Foods
• Ability to use handheld scanners, Ross ERP system, and other technology critical for this role

What You’ll Need

• Forklift/Reach Truck experience
• Previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience a plus—but not required!
• Ability to support warehouse functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use various computer systems, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Warehouse and Inventory systems, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs)
• Team-player mindset who shows up on time and ready to work
