Job summary

Gehl Foods is hiring a Warehouse Operator for the 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm) in Walterboro, SC. The role involves accurate order processing in the Partial Pallet area, loading/unloading ingredients and finished goods, and maintaining inventory integrity.

A forklift/reach truck background and ability to use scanners and Ross ERP are preferred. The position offers full benefits, including medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) match, PTO and holidays, and on-demand pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Forklift/Reach Truck experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer orders in the Partial Pallet area; pick, pack and wrap according to order specs.
• Unload, validate, and inspect ingredients, packaging materials, pallets.
• Unload and load finished goods for shipping to customers and other locations.
• Support proper inventory rotation and movements with accurate paperwork.
• Process material and finished goods documentation.
• Assist teammates in Operations, FSQ, R&D and other areas as needed.
• Operate handheld scanners and Ross ERP system for daily tasks.

What You’ll Do

• Accurately process customer orders in the Partial Pallet area. Pick, pack and wrap finished goods to order specification

• Unload and load various finished goods to ship to our customers and other warehouse locations
• Support proper inventory rotation
• Process all necessary paperwork for material and finished good movements
• Support team members in Operations, FSQ, R&D, and other areas of Gehl Foods
• Ability to use handheld scanners, Ross ERP system, and other technology critical for this role

What You’ll Need

• Forklift/Reach Truck experience
• Previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience a plus—but not required!
• Ability to support warehouse functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use various computer systems, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Warehouse and Inventory systems, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs)
• Team-player mindset who shows up on time and ready to work
