Job summary

Gehl Foods, LLC is hiring a Filler Operator for the 2nd shift (2pm - 10:30pm) in Walterboro, SC. Base pay plus shift differential equals $21/hour, with compensation based on experience. This full-time position includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

The role focuses on operating and monitoring the production line, CIP/SIP proficiency, and supporting changeovers, with emphasis on safety and teamwork. On-demand pay and bonuses are among the offered benefits.

Qualifications

• 6-months previous manufacturing, packaging or assembly line production experience.
• Basic mathematical calculation skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs).
• Team-player mindset who shows up on time and ready to work.

Responsibilities

• Operate and observes production line equipment
• Becomes proficient in Sterilize-in-Place (SIP) operation and Clean-in-Place (CIP)
• Actively participates in startup, troubleshooting/adjustment, stop/reset, and shutdown of line equipment
• Perform changeovers
• Reports out of standard/specification results
• Completes handwritten instructions and on-line documentation
