Job summary

Gehl Foods is hiring a Filler Operator for the 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm). The role operates and monitors packaging lines, with base pay plus shift differential totaling $21/hour, depending on experience.

This is a full-time manufacturing position with stable hours. You'll gain hands-on experience with SIP/CIP, participate in line startup and troubleshooting, perform changeovers, and ensure documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• 6-months previous manufacturing, packaging or assembly line production experience.
• Basic mathematical calculation skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs).
• Team-player mindset who shows up on time and ready to work.

Responsibilities

• Operate and observes production line equipment.
• Becomes proficient in Sterilize-in-Place (SIP) operation and Clean-in-Place (CIP).
• Actively participates in startup, troubleshooting/adjustment, stop/reset, and shutdown of line equipment.
• Perform changeovers.
• Reports out of standard/specification results.
• Completes handwritten instructions and on-line documentation.
