Job summary

Gehl Foods, LLC is hiring a Mixing Operator for the 3rd shift (10pm – 6:30am). Base pay plus shift differential totals $19/hour, with additional compensation based on experience. We provide thorough training, and no prior experience is required.

You will mix ingredients, monitor gauges, and ensure proper transfer of ingredient lots in a fast-paced environment. Benefits include full medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, PTO/holidays, tuition reimbursement, HSA option, and employee perks.

Qualifications

• No experience required – we provide thorough training.
• Experience in production/manufacturing is a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Mix and/or blend ingredients according to recipes.
• Observe gauges, valves, and thermometers.
• Transfer ingredient lots and record critical control information.
• Monitor and review inventory levels in batching department.
• Receive all ingredients including bulk materials.
• Perform basic analytical tests as required.
• Clean and run automated CIP equipment and operate forklifts as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Mix and/or blend ingredients, according to recipes
• Observe gauges, valves, and thermometers
• Responsible for properly transferring ingredient lots and other critical control information
• Monitor and review inventory levels in batching department
• Receive all ingredients including bulk materials
• Responsible for performing several basic analytical testings'
• Responsible for cleaning and running automated Clean in Place (CIP) equipment
• Safely operates forklifts as needed

What You’ll Need

• No experience required – we provide thorough training
• Previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience a plus—but not required!
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 60 lbs)
• Team-player mindset who shows up on time and ready to work
