Job summary

CMC, a Fortune 500® company, invites you to join its team supporting construction reinforcement and steel products. In this role you will perform a range of material handling tasks, operate a forklift, assist with shipments and inventories, and work alongside a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders.
• Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements.
• Great organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, pushing, reaching, bending over, climbing, and kneeling.
• Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required.
• Move materials and items from receiving and/or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
• Assist in unloading and loading customers.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Assist in filling work/shipping orders.
• Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Maintain work area and location organized and clean for orderliness at all times.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization.
