Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking team-oriented individuals in San Antonio, TX for hands-on roles supporting construction reinforcement and steel products. You will operate equipment, assist with loading/unloading, and help maintain organized work areas while contributing to daily shipping and inventory tasks.

Ideal candidates will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders.
• Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements.
• Great organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, pushing, reaching, bending over, climbing, and kneeling.
• Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required.
• Move materials and items from receiving and/or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
• Assist in unloading and loading customers.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Assist in filling work/shipping orders.
• Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Maintain work area and location organized and clean for orderliness at all times.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization.
