Job summary

CMC is hiring for a Warehouse/General Labor role in Round Rock, TX. The position involves hands-on material handling, forklift operation, and helping in loading, packing, and inventory tasks across our construction reinforcement products facilities.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in construction or manufacturing, good communication, and the ability to work in varying climates. We offer comprehensive benefits from Day 1 and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in construction and/or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders.
• Great organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements.
• Able to operate hand tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort and place materials and items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
• Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required
• Perform a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, pushing, reaching, bending over, climbing, and kneeling
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders in appropriate shipping/holding area
• Assist in unloading and loading customers
• Assist in performing inventory on material
• Assist in filling work/shipping orders
• Maintain work area and location organized and clean for orderliness at all times
• Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization
