• Counting inventory and weighing/counting items for distribution.
• Preparing parcels for mailing and maintaining warehouse organization and safety.
• Assisting with facilities maintenance duties as needed.

What’s a typical day as Warehouse Operator? You’ll be:

• Assisting shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders

• Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas

• Sorting and placing materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to sequence (size, type, style, or product code)

• Filing requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distributing items to shipping or storage areas

• Marking materials with identifying information and recording amounts of materials received or distributed via computer program

• Assisting in counting of physical inventory and weighing/counting items for distribution

• Preparing parcels for mailing and maintaining warehouse organization and safety

• Assisting with facilities maintenance duties as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience

• Possess previous experience in warehouse shipping and receiving

• Are able to regularly lift/move objects up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 50 lbs, and occasionally over 100 lbs

• Have knowledge of MS Office and strong mathematical skills

• Are comfortable with the physical demands of standing, handling materials, reaching, and occasionally stooping or crouching

• Value safety and are able to wear proper safety equipment at all times
