Kelly Services in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Side Loader Forklift Operator for a premier metals distribution center. This full-time position offers a stable 2nd shift (2:00pm–11:00pm) with mandatory overtime daily and competitive pay.

You will safely operate a side-loader forklift, a sit-down forklift, and an overhead crane to move heavy stock, pick and package orders, and handle shipping/receiving paperwork using SAP. Prior metals warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of metals warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating a side-loader forklift, sit-down forklift, and overhead crane.
• Able to pass a skills-based test covering basic math, reading, measurements, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with standard measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a side loader forklift, sit-down forklift, and overhead crane to move heavy metal stock.
• Picking, staging, and packaging feedstock for customer orders, including breaking down bulk bundles as needed.
• Completing shipping and receiving paperwork, and performing work order confirmations with SAP.
• Loading and unloading trucks while meeting daily productivity and safety goals.
