Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Team Lead, Operations to coordinate warehousing activities, oversee receiving and shipping, and mentor associates toward meeting performance and safety goals. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor and emphasizes quality, cost efficiency, and safety.

A forklift certification and experience in a distribution center are preferred. The position requires leadership, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed,

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures in the warehouse during warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unloading and picking of inbound/outbound shipments.
• Verify paperwork with drivers and ensure correct counts.
• Mentor and train new and existing associates on SOPs and safety.
• Maintain safety protocols and clean, orderly warehouse.
