Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. in North Kansas City, MO is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct store warehouse operations and supervise specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators.

You will support daily freight scheduling based on customer and inventory needs and ensure efficient, safe warehouse practices. The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control)
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment and compliance with OSHA regulations
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve problems
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations
• Complete activity reports for management
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices and packing slips
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP and ensure proper staging for counting
• Ensure proper storage to conserve space and safety
• Oversee inventory rotation
• Perform other duties as directed by management
