Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor in the Chattanooga area to direct warehouse teams, ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency across receiving, storage, and outbound shipping. You will schedule workload, mentor staff, and drive adherence to SOPs while supporting safety initiatives.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus several years of warehousing and supervisory experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected. Local travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college; or equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience
• PC and computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of associates in warehouse/distribution environment to ensure safety and quality.
• Determine work volume, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow for cost effectiveness.
• Assign duties and inspect work for quality and policy compliance.
• Schedule inventories and manage accurate shipping of outbound orders.
• Provide instructions and ensure accountability according to SOPs.
• Mentor and coach associates; conduct performance evaluations.
• Monitor receiving processes and product database development.
• Train staff on policies, procedures, and Standard Works.
• Support Safety Program and participate on Safety Committee.
• Contribute to process improvements and handle miscellaneous tasks.
