Arvato, a leading global 3PL service provider in supply chain management and e-commerce, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage labor and equipment in the assigned warehouse department, ensuring timely and quality order execution.

You will plan, organize, and monitor receiving, storage, and distribution from suppliers or production, manage labor resources, train staff, and ensure adherence to safety and 5S practices while driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse.
• Knowledge of picking, packing and shipping tasks.
• SAP or equivalent WMS systems experience.
• 3-5 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with inventory research.
• Team-oriented.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, notably Excel.

Responsabilités

• Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the department.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of employees and monitor department functions on the floor.
• Receive and transfer materials.
• Performance management of all employees (KPIs).
• Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department.
• Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements.
• Update and maintain timekeeping and metrics in business systems (WMS).
• Ensure shift-end procedures and floor end-of-shift closeout are followed.
• New customer integration and migration testing.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Understand traffic coordination.
• Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements.
