Job summary

Owens & Minor Distribution Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate and manage multiple warehouse functions including receiving, warehousing, and shipping. The role includes supervising Distribution Supervisors in the Warehouse Manager's absence and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

You will hire, train and coach teammates, review performance, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and compliance with DEA/OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a four-year college degree is preferred.
• Certification on all warehouse machinery is required or expected.
• At least three years of O&M experience; supervisory experience for external hires; two years warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage warehouse functions including receiving, warehousing and shipping.
• Supervise distribution operations in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
• Schedule work and assign duties to teammates; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Hire, train and develop warehouse teammates; conduct performance reviews.
• Coordinate with accounts receivable, purchasing, sales and customer service.
