Performance Foodservice in Shreveport, LA seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to direct all warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, to ensure accurate and timely product flow. You will lead a team, enforce safety programs, and collaborate with transportation and inventory staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years warehouse and team lead or supervisory experience including in-depth knowledge of all warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution, promoting safety and cost control.
• Works closely with Transportation Manager to ensure efficiency; oversees workload scheduling and on-time delivery; may operate powered material handling equipment.
• Reviews stock status reports; coordinates with inventory staff to ensure accurate counts and availability; communicates shortages and substitutions.
• Coordinates with inventory staff to return obsolete product to vendors or sell to other distributors as needed.
• Ensures building and equipment are maintained by supervising maintenance activities and staff.
• Notifies customers of stock shortages by providing information to Customer Service and Operations Manager; records all information.
• Maintains knowledge of SOPs and ensures staff compliance with procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
