Job summary

Odyssey Logistics in Shreveport, LA is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations across four facilities. You will supervise supervisors, forklift operators, and office staff to meet safety, inventory, and customer service standards.

The role requires strong leadership in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of OSHA regulations, training, and process improvement. Onsite work with a 6:00 am – 3:00 pm schedule, Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays, and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Five years of experience in a similar role.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, metal cutting devices, and handheld RFID scanners is required.
• Microsoft Office literacy is required.
• AS400 systems and OSHA regulations are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the supervisor and leads to ensure daily operations meet safety requirements.
• Maintain Federal, State, local, and OSHA regulations, including PPE.
• Track, record, and monitor the maintenance and inspection of operating equipment for safety and compliance.
• Document training programs attended by employees and certifications received.
• Follow company safety guidelines for loading and unloading material.
• Audit warehouse procedures and update work instructions to meet safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Lead safety meetings and trainings as directed by HSSE.
• Track attendance, vacation, sick days and performance.
• Organize material and manage inventory within the warehouse.
• Supervise crane and forklift operation, product inspection, shipping, receiving, and storage.
• Complete daily paperwork and data recording.
• Maintain customer communication and escalate issues when needed.
