Job summary

Performance Foodservice seeks a warehouse supervisor to direct all warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, ensuring accurate and timely product flow. The role requires leadership within the team and adherence to safety standards to support our food distribution network.

The position oversees staffing, training, and performance management. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 DOE, reflecting experience and location in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
• 4-6 years warehouse supervisory experience including in-depth knowledge of all warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates including staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Coordinates with Transportation Manager to ensure efficient operations and proper loading/unloading of trucks; may operate material handling equipment.
• Reviews stock status and communicates shortages or seasonal changes to inventory and customers.
• Coordinates with inventory staff to return obsolete product to vendors or sell to other distributors.
• Ensures building and equipment are maintained by supervising maintenance and repair activities.
• Notifies customers and internal teams about stock shortages, substitutions, and records all info.
• Ensures compliance with standard operating procedures across the department.
