Job summary

Superior Communications in La Vergne, TN is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the warehouse team, plan workloads, and drive improvements in methods and equipment.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing setting, proficiency with a Warehouse Management System, and strong communication skills. Day shift: Mon-Thu, 7:00am–5:30pm; salary range $55,000–$60,000 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a Supervisor or similar role
• Experience in Shipping and Receiving
• 3 years in manufacturing or distribution center environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Ability to read and write English

Responsibilities

• Manage department personnel and priorities, including supervising temporary staff
• Coordinate production scheduling and carry out production plan
• Oversee KPI management and department processes
• Control labor and expenses; approve timesheets
• Ensure processes are followed and improve procedures for efficiency
• Ensure orders pass quality control and meet SLAs
• Organize inbound and outbound shipments
