Job summary

GEODIS in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily distribution center activities, coordinate staff schedules, and drive efficient order fulfillment.

This role requires 3-5 years in warehouse operations, supervisory experience, and familiarity with warehouse equipment and management systems. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance while supporting payroll and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (equivalent).
• 3 to 5 years related warehouse/distribution center experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse equipment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Experience with labor management systems.
• PC literate with Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily activities within the distribution center.
• Supervises staff and directs work related to order fulfillment, inventory, stocking, and material handling.
• Prepares work schedules and manages labor needs.
• Manages labor hours and payroll in the timekeeping system.
• Interviews and trains prospective and new team members.
• Supervises staff development, performance, and conflict resolution.
• Ensures team understands and works toward performance goals.
• Recommends process improvements within the warehouse or DC.
• Reviews records for accuracy and compliance; checks stock levels.
• Ensures compliance with company and customer policies, including safety.
• Schedules work for inventories.
• Traces item history to resolve discrepancies.
• Assigns duties and checks for accuracy and adherence to policies.
• Standardizes procedures to improve efficiency.
• Prepares leadership reports.
• Maintains physical properties of the warehouse.
• Submits billing to customer services.
• Supervises distribution center operations per policies and laws.
• Other duties as required.
