DIVISION: U.S. AutoForce

POSITION SUMMARY: Bilingual Spanish/English speaking preferred.

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM or until the job is complete. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication. Offer measurable feedback, suggestions for improvement, and recognition for achievements.
  2. Conduct interviews, hiring, and training as necessary.
  3. Support safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe working environment for all associates.
  4. Assist with process improvement initiatives.
  5. Conduct regular meetings to ensure personnel are well-informed of policies and procedures. Enforce productivity standards continually.
  6. Ensure excellent customer service and communication.
  7. Receiving: Check in product completely and accurately; stock products correctly.
  8. Loading: Pick product for daily and special deliveries; load trucks using good judgment regarding space and safety.
  9. Returns: Inspect and count returned merchandise; restock inventory; handle vendor returns; process warranty paperwork; unload customer/inventory transfers.
  10. Operate power equipment, including forklift.
  11. May work as a backup driver as assigned or directed.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Physical demands: Frequently required to stand, walk, sit; use hands; reach; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl; talk; hear; taste; smell. Occasionally lift up to 80 lbs. Handling tires over 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities required.
  • Protective equipment required: Steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL. All provided except boots.
  • Work environment: May be exposed to weather; moderate noise; fumes from tires, car parts, lubricants.
Qualifications
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Ability to supervise assistants and helpers
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn computer systems
  • Willing to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice
  • Good memory, scanning, communication, and math skills
  • Ability to lift 65 lbs. with equipment and climb 20 feet regularly
  • Ability to learn to operate a forklift
  • Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driver policy may be required
  • Pass pre-employment drug test (excluding THC/marijuana)
