Responsibilities include maintaining a daily shipping 'Hot List', planning shipments via our fleet of six trucks, managing pick lists for two offsite warehouses, preparing delivery receipts, ensuring proper trailer loading/unloading, and serving as a backup to other team members.

As a Shipping Supervisor – 1st Shift, reporting to the Shipping Manager, you'll be part of a team that includes a Shipping Manager, two Supervisors, and a Shipping Clerk. Your responsibilities include maintaining the Hot List, planning shipments, managing dock appointments, preparing documentation, overseeing trailer loading, and supporting team performance.

Key goals include safety, quality, respect, 100% on-time delivery, and load stability. You will contribute by coaching the team, ensuring safety and quality standards, interacting with other departments, and processing shipment paperwork efficiently.

Requirements include a high school diploma (college preferred), five years of shipping experience, multitasking ability, supervisory skills, strong communication, technical retention, computer literacy, and experience with Amtech or similar platforms. A proactive, enthusiastic team player with creative abilities is desired.
