Job Summary

The Production Supervisor oversees production operations within assigned areas or during specific shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise workers operating production machinery, assembling items, performing quality control, or packaging goods for shipment.
2. Notify maintenance or engineering departments when equipment requires maintenance or repair.
3. Monitor output against schedules and quality goals.
4. Coordinate workflow and ensure adequate inventory and staffing.
5. Provide training and guidance to new employees.
6. Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization following 5S standards.
8. Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing policies, procedures, and practices.
• Ability to lead and direct team members.
• Authority in personnel decisions such as hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
• Experience providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
• Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program plus 5+ years of experience.
