Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a DC Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse staffing, scheduling, and distribution to meet customer demands. The role requires coordinating with supervisors and ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-paced DC environment.

With 1-3 years in warehousing, candidates should be capable of guiding teams, maintaining equipment, and optimizing processes. Bi-lingual skills are preferred to support diverse operations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
• Experience directing and coordinating work for teams.
• Bi-lingual skills preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work schedules for warehouse staff across shipping, receiving, loading/unloading, stacking, picking and palletizing.
• Plans storage space and delivery/distribution to meet objectives and customer needs.
• Ensures equipment and company vehicles are maintained per laws; enforces safety rules and hazardous materials handling/recording.
• Monitors attendance, productivity, and performance; provides counseling when needed.
• Coordinates with warehouse/operations manager, telephone sales and other supervisors on shipments and cut-offs.
• Maintains records and reports (lost sales, error reports, production reports).
• Recommends procedural changes to improve unit efficiency.
