Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a DC Supervisor for 1st shift to oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, picking and palletizing finished goods.

The role requires 1–3 years in a warehouse setting, an Associate degree or equivalent, and may prefer bilingual candidates. You will manage schedules, monitor safety, and coordinate with managers to meet distribution objectives while ensuring compliance with laws and company rules.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
• Experience in material handling, inventory tracking, and directing teammates.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work schedules of warehouse employees performing shipping, receiving, loading/unloading, stacking, picking and palletizing.
• Determines space requirements for storage and coordinates delivery/distribution to meet customer requirements.
• Ensures maintenance of equipment and a safe environment, enforcing company safety rules.
• Monitors attendance, productivity and performance, providing coaching as needed.
• Coordinates with warehouse/operations manager and other supervisors on shipments and cut-off times.
• Maintains records and reports such as lost sales and production reports.
• Recommends procedures to improve unit efficiency.
