Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations and supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators at our Colorado Springs stores. The role supports the Receiving Supervisor with daily freight scheduling based on customer and inventory needs.

You will oversee shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, and Storage Buy processes, while ensuring safety and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and maintain relationships.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math calculations proficiency.
• Proficient with Windows-based computer systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work extended hours during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities: shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control.
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and communicate repairs to management.
• Oversee warehouse safety programs in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations.
• Complete Activity Reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping documents and reports.
• Ensure proper counting, staging, and storage of products.
• Oversee inventory rotation and related duties.
