Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Warehouse Operations Coordinator to support the flow and optimization of a department within our fulfillment center. You will assist the Operations Manager with start-of-shift readiness, monitor productivity, and drive safety and day-to-day process improvements.

A day-in-the-life shows you assigning daily tasks, coordinating with teams, communicating results, and maintaining strong hand-offs between shifts to ensure timely execution of priorities across the building.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of warehouse experience in a fulfillment or distribution center.
• Deep understanding of multiple warehouse departments, processes, and programs.
• Maintain a sense of urgency and follow-through.
• Strong proficiency in technical systems including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and WM.
• Excellent customer service and team player attitudes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the department in achieving safety, quality and performance goals while driving efficiency and flow.
• Create daily assignments and project actions; move or reassign team members to meet priorities.
• Communicate department results to team members and inform managers of hourly goals and progress.
• Complete safety observations and model safe behavior.
• Coordinate with safety, facilities, ICQA, and training to meet business needs.
• Lead start of shift meetings and support end of shift duties; ensure strong hand-offs between shifts.
