Job summary

DHL Supply Chain, a global leader in contract logistics, seeks an Operations Manager II to drive warehouse operations, lead a Supervisors team, and implement best practices for efficiency and safety. You will partner with HR and site leadership on hiring and work with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.

Primary responsibilities include developing workflows, managing labor plans, reporting KPIs, and fostering a culture of inclusion and safety across a large warehouse network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
• 1+ years logistics industry experience required.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plan, and standardize processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
• Compile reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics for decision-making.
• Foster open communication and collaboration across leadership and associates.
• Support hiring process for Supervisors with HR and site leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly.
• Address customer concerns to achieve high customer satisfaction.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

2+ years supervisory/management experience

1+ years logistics industry experience
