RJW Logistics in Plainfield, IL is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager for the 2nd shift (Wed-Sat; hours depend on business needs). Compensation is $75-$90k annually. Location: 26351 W 143rd St, Plainfield, IL 60544.

This position is not remote and RJW will not provide relocation assistance. You will manage daily warehouse operations on the shift, including scheduling worker hours, inbound/outbound loading, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and housekeeping, while supervising 30+

Qualifications

• Experience managing a warehouse and inventory processes.
• Strong Excel, data entry, and computer skills.
• Experience leading a staff of 30+ and multiple shifts.
• Ability to schedule and optimize warehouse operations.
• Proven budgeting and cost-control capabilities.
• Effective communication with drivers and managers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations for the assigned shift.
• Schedule worker hours and manage inbound/outbound loads.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with regular counts.
• Supervise loading/unloading by carriers.
• Ensure proper trailer/yard management and dock safety.
• Coordinate carrier pick-ups as directed by customers.
• Manage warehouse personnel, including performance reviews.
• Ensure training of forklift operators on procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and food-safety compliant facility.
