Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking candidates for the Management in Training - Operations (MIT) Program, an entry-level, hands-on training track based in our distribution warehouses. You will gain exposure to Operations, Management and Purchasing while receiving six months of guided instruction and real-world responsibilities.

Graduates move into Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide, with relocation assistance and a start in a growth-driven, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related discipline with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership or problem-solving experience in a distribution or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing in the distribution center.
• Observe experienced staff to learn methods, procedures and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance and retail store customers to understand the business.
• Attend classroom sessions at EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX focusing on operations, leadership and systems.
• Deliver a final presentation to senior management at program end and complete remaining duties as assigned.
