Job summary

Do it Best in Lexington, SC seeks a Warehouse Department Manager to lead a large warehouse team, drive safe, efficient operations, and partner with department managers and vendors. The role emphasizes staffing, training, shipping/receiving, and continuous improvement in a fast-growing distribution environment.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in business or related field and at least 5 years of supervisory experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills. Day shift on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly leads 30-40 staff members including staffing, training, coaching and performance management.
• Oversees daily warehouse operations with inventory control, receiving, stocking, replenishments, order filling, shipping and small parcel processing.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with regulations.
• Provide leadership in applying HR policies and procedures.
• Resolve member store issues with a focus on customer service.
• Work with management to resolve staff issues promptly and fairly.
• Ensure warehouse operates efficiently per SOPs.
• Forecast staffing, workload and performance to meet business demands.
• Prepare, review, and analyze reports to identify improvements in production, quality, and safety.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance and adhere to company policies.
