Job summary

Novo Logistics in Lexington, SC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced plant team. You will recruit, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate staff, while ensuring policy compliance and safe operations.

The role backs up the General Manager, supports daily plant and office tasks, and oversees budgeting, asset management, and reporting. A forklift certification and warehouse experience are required for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of warehouse experience.
• 1 year of management experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, orient, train, schedule, coach, counsel, motivate, and discipline team members; communicate job expectations; evaluate performance; enforce policies and procedures.
• Supervise and work with supervisor(s) to manage daily activities and employee matters.
• Serve as backup to the General Manager for site processes and procedures.
• Assist the General Manager in daily plant and office operations.
• Assist in asset and budget management, including budget projection, maintenance, inventory, and reporting.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with safety procedures and expectations.
• Operate a forklift and assist in other warehouse or plant duties as needed.
• Perform other requests and duties as assigned by the General Manager or upper-level management.
