Job summary

Kings Command Foods is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse operations across multiple shifts, overseeing receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping while prioritizing safety, quality, and cost efficiency. The role will partner with Production, Scheduling, Transportation, Customer Service, QA, Procurement, and Finance to meet objectives and sustain high service levels.

The position emphasizes staff development, continuous improvement, and compliance, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Lead and develop a multi-shift warehouse organization.
• Create a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and develop Warehouse Supervisors and Team Leads.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
• Coach employees and identify succession planning opportunities.
• Evaluate employee performance during probationary periods.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention efforts.
• Drive employee engagement and recognition programs.
• Direct inbound receiving, storage, inventory management, and outbound shipping activities.
• Oversee the training and safety of new and existing employees in the warehouse department.
• Responsible for the management of the forklift maintenance and spending.
• Coordinate operational priorities across all shifts.
• Ensure staffing levels meet business demands while minimizing overtime.
• Maintain equipment utilization and operational efficiency.
• Monitor workflow to maximize productivity and throughput.
• Provide operational coverage during supervisor absences as needed.
• Maintain proficiency in all warehouse functions.
