Job summary

Estes Forwarding Worldwide is seeking a Manager, General (Warehousing) to lead operations at one or more warehouse locations. You will direct operations, manage resources, and drive profitability while delivering high levels of service.

The role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and a focus on process improvement. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in transportation or warehousing with supervisory experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5–7 years of experience in transportation or warehousing.
• Five years of supervisory or managerial experience is desired.
• Experience supervising 6–10 employees in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for profitable, cost-efficient operations and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Lead, direct, and manage site operations to ensure profitability and superior customer service.
• Review P&L performance and adjust goals to maintain profitability.
• Ensure safe and timely freight handling and a professional work environment.
• Regular attendance and compliance with security procedures.
• Support sales efforts and manage customer relations.
