Job summary

Estes Forwarding Worldwide, a leading freight forwarder, seeks a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations to lead a team and direct daily warehouse activities. You will ensure high service levels, coordinate with customers and carriers, and manage resources for profitability and efficiency.

The role requires 2–5 years in logistics with 1–3 years in supervision, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2–5 years in transportation or warehousing.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Combination of experience and/or education will be considered.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the assigned Estes Forwarding Worldwide team, ensuring high level of service and customer satisfaction.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as required.
• Coordinate incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments with customers and carriers.
• Interface with warehouse staff to ensure timely processing of orders and receipts.
• Process transactions in the Warehouse Management System for receipts, shipments, and inventory transfers.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to warehousing best practices and SOPs; drive continuous improvement with site managers.
• Lead team meetings, set priorities, and communicate changes clearly.
• Direct traffic within the warehouse and adjust orders as needed to optimize flow.
• Manage resources to maximize profitability and customer service; develop relationships with customers.
